Center Forest lands,
a 363-acre sustainable forest
and nature preserve owned
and managed by King County
Parks with community
partners who make up the
Friends of Island Center
Forest, including the Vashon
Forest Stewards, Vashon–
Maury Island Audubon and
others. Signs were developed
to interpret the natural history
of the area as well as forest
sustainability methods and
human historical impact.
